Ferry

Terms of Use

Last updated October 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Studio Établi, Montréal, Québec, Canada, Québec enterprise number 2282705625 ("we"), for the Ferry app, its sync service and the phone web app. Contact: support@ferryclip.com.

The app

The Ferry app and its clipboard history are free. You may use them for personal or work purposes. Don't reverse-engineer the service to attack it, overload it, or use it to store or share illegal content.

Sync subscription

Refunds

If you're not happy, email us (or ask Link support) within 7 days of a charge and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked; your subscription then ends. After 7 days, charges are not refundable except where the law requires it, but you can cancel at any time to avoid the next one. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws, including Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

Your data

Your clipboard content belongs to you. Sync content is end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read it; see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your devices secure: anyone who can use a device in your sync group can see its history.

Availability

We work to keep sync running, but it may occasionally be unavailable. Ferry keeps working on each device while sync is down and catches up afterwards. If we ever shut the sync service down, we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund the unused part of any yearly subscription.

Warranty and liability

Ferry is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Ferry is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places, including Québec, don't allow these limits for consumers, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll say so in the app or by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and of Canada applicable there.
